The limited-edition fragrance La Petite Mort is the creation of artist and singer Adonxs. What appears at first to be a classic citrus-woody composition subtly reveals an undercurrent of sensual, animalic accords. The fragrance opens with a straightforward citrus accord of bergamot, sharpened by spicy juniper and pepper. This articulated burst of emotion gradually softens into delicate floral notes of geranium and jasmine, while orange blossom keeps a subtle bittersweet thread. The composition settles into a woody, tranquil base where a gently veiled hint of animality meets olibanum, amber, and a cool, powdery cedar.
