PARADISO SLOW LIVING #1

PARADISO SLOW LIVING #1

Perfumes are often carrying inspiration from places that have strongly influenced their creators. We would like to encourage you to reverse that influence. Take the perfume and your imagination to be transferred onto places with which the scent perfectly matches. Of course, there are little helpers for your imagination: looking at your travel diaries and photos, exchanges with friends, and recommendations of the most inspirational travel book. Now we are ready to share inspiration and to draw up holiday plans...

Your summer guide this season will be PARADISO - the citrus notes of this illuminating scent will evoke a feeling of happiness but at the same time a slight contrasting undertone of something very classic - that’s why we have chosen the Adriatic shore, Venice, and the southernmost tip of Croatian Istria as the venues for our SLOW LIVING 1#. A small corner of the world in which wild, beautiful and untouched nature intertwines with the most refined example of civilization.

ACCOMMODATION IN STYLE

CAPRIANI
We will start on a clear morning by jumping into crystal-clear and optimal tempered seawater. Church bells ringing from the rooftops around. There is only one such pool in the center of Venice within the gardens of the famous Hotel Capriani. Worlds high society has been coming here since the 1950s and we are certainly not distancing ourselves from this tradition. Pink marble, stained glass chandeliers, and heavy Rubelli curtains. The kind of decadent aristocratic style is mixed with the modern twentieth century. The absolute tranquility and at the same time exciting pulse of San Marco Square is just a five-minute private boat ride away. Either at luscious breakfast or a midnight drink at the bar, you can sail between two dream worlds.

NOVECENTO

To become a Venetian for a few days it is best to stay at Hotel Novocento which is located near the Gallerie Dell’Academia, surrounded by further museums just in the heart of the city. However you will not feel as being in a hotel, this ancient house offers nine bedrooms for the utmost privacy of their guests. The large social lounge is the opposite of the typical hotel bars and lobbies. You can serve yourself at the home bar or take a book from the library. In addition, the entire interior not only breathes local history but also the atmosphere of distant overseas routes.

THE OTHER SIDE KAMENJAK

A place where civilization is in the distance. The southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula is a place for dreamers: Without any paved roads or electricity. Nature - free of almost any building. Only a massif small rocks covered from east to west with lush low vegetation of fragrant woody plants and herbs inhabited by cicadas and birds. Here you can anchor a boat in a deep bay surrounded by pine trees. Or come from the north to take one of the countless winding paths to the rocky above sea terraces. In tranquility, you can watch distant ships and seagulls and realize that you have just stopped dreaming. It's all real.

DRINK WITH A VIEW

If you could drink only one glass in one place in Venice, then let it must the roof terrace of Hotel Danieli. The Palazzo Dandolo was built in the fourteenth century in a place with the most impressive views of the city: the Grand Canal and the lagoon. Mostly made of stone from nearby Istria the hotel has been established in 1822 and since then the guest list is reminiscent of a celebrity encyclopedia. Enter the palace through a small door, walk through the ancient space (which was the backdrop for a number of films and famous life stories) and become a star of your own world overseeing the rooftops of this beautiful city.
