LIFE DRAWING CLASS

The time we dedicate to exploring art doesn't always have to involve a gallery walk, a vernissage, or studying theory. On a hot August evening, we held a drawing class in the shade of a centuries-old plane tree in the garden of the concept store Artiséme. The class led by the artist Dominik Běhal focused on figure drawing,  Michelangelo’s canon, axes, proportions, and the therapeutic strokes of charcoal on paper. For a few hours, we were completely immersed in the present moment, concentrating on new discoveries, unexpected principles of the drawing process, and the lightness of our own hand. The evening, in active contact with art, allowed everyone to pause, rest, and glimpse into the world of art studios, learning a small part of this beautiful world. Thank you to everyone for their enthusiasm and to Monkey47 gin for providing a refreshing touch to the relaxing atmosphere.

We are now opening five evenings at STUDIO PIGMENTARIUM under the guidance of MgA. Dominik Běhal.
